What is Vaginal Dryness and Itching?

Vaginal or vulvar dryness is a condition in which the vaginal tissue thins and becomes dry due to decreased estrogen production. Women often experience vaginal dryness during and after menopause because of the hormonal changes the body goes through, but a woman can have vaginal dryness at any age brought on by estrogen levels dropping. Vaginal dryness can also lead to itching, burning, and even painful sex. Symptoms may include soreness and itchiness around the vagina and pain during sex.

Vaginal Dryness Causes
