Mama Glow, October's Reverence Fund Partner
Dear Rosies,
It’s three in the morning in a birthing room, and beside the woman in labor sits a person who knows exactly what this hour asks of a body: a doula. She provides deep accompaniment, in very specific ways that improve birth outcomes dramatically. Latham Thomas has trained three thousand doulas.
Latham founded Mama Glow after the birth of her own son, and the Mama Glow Foundation grew out of it. Mama Glow doulas accompany families through fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and loss. Through the Foundation, many of them serve families pro bono, and in New York City it is the largest provider of pro bono doula care. Her professional doula training now runs as a course at Brown University, a first for the Ivy League.
What drew us is how far Latham’s view reaches. Her Continuum Conference holds a woman’s whole reproductive life, from first period to menopause. The Foundation's work has expanded to provide support for the transition through menopause to the Free Period.
You can hear Latham in her own words on The Rose Woman Podcast.
In October 2026, every order sent a portion to the Mama Glow Foundation. Anything you add at checkout passes through in full.
One balm walks both ends of this road with you. Honor tends a nursing mother’s nipples, cracked and tender in those first weeks, and its food-grade ingredients mean what remains is safe for the baby. Years later, the same tin tends the thinner, drier skin of the vulva through perimenopause and after. The beginning and the turn, in one daily touch.
Inner change, outer systems. Both, always.
Give directly to the Mama Glow Foundation.
To the fullness of this precious life in a body,
Christine Marie Mason, Founder, Rosebud Woman
