Health Savings & Flexible Spending
Your health account can buy your balm.
Rosebud Woman is now eligible for payment with a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Those are pre-tax dollars — money set aside from your pay before income tax is taken — and if you qualify, they can go toward the care you use every night.
How it works
It all happens at checkout, and it takes a couple of minutes.
1 · Shop as you always have
Add what you use to your cart. How you choose and what you pay stay exactly the same.
2 · Answer a short survey
At checkout you complete a brief health survey. Your answers go straight to a licensed provider for review, and we never see your health information.
3 · Pay with your card
If you qualify, pay with your HSA or FSA card. The provider decides independently and issues your documentation directly to you. If you do not qualify, check out normally with any payment method.
Eligible is not the same as guaranteed. Whether you qualify is decided by the licensed provider who reviews your survey, and what your account will reimburse is decided by your plan. We do not make either call, and we cannot promise an outcome. Plan rules vary, so check yours.
Who qualifies, and what it saves
What commonly qualifies
Eligibility is established with clinician approval for menopausal dryness, among other conditions a provider may recognize. Whether it applies to you is theirs to determine, and the survey at checkout is where that is decided. We do not diagnose, and we do not decide who qualifies.
What it is worth
HSA and FSA dollars are set aside before tax. Depending on your tax bracket, that can amount to a saving of about thirty percent. Your plan and your own tax situation set the exact figure.
How an HSA and an FSA differ
HSA
The money is yours. It rolls over year to year and follows you if you change jobs, with no deadline to spend it.
FSA
Usually tied to your employer and to the plan year. Many plans close December 31; some carry a portion forward, and some allow a grace period into March. Yours will say which.
If you have an FSA, this is the one worth putting a reminder on.

Questions
Who decides whether I qualify?
A licensed provider, independently of us. They review the survey you complete at checkout and issue documentation directly to you if appropriate. Rosebud Woman is not part of that decision and does not receive your health information.
What happens if I do not qualify?
Your order goes through normally with any other payment method. There is no penalty, and nothing is held up.
Will my plan definitely reimburse this?
We cannot promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Plans differ in what they ask for and what they accept, and some require documentation. Check with your plan administrator if you are unsure.
Do I need to do this every time I order?
Yes. Eligible items ask you a few short health questions at checkout, and the letter is issued automatically once your order is placed.
Does it cost anything extra?
No. You pay the normal product price with your HSA or FSA card, and there is no added fee.
Can I use my HSA or FSA on a subscription order?
Not yet. HSA and FSA payment works on one-time purchases, so subscription orders do not show the option. Place a one-time order if you want to pay with your card.
