Next week, we begin Chapter 3: Sovereignty, Intercourse to Reproductive Intent (roughly 17 to 26). In the work, I use average ages in the West at the time of writing (in the US, it's now 17 for first intercourse and 30 for the first baby). I also feel like clarifying now that "reproductive intent" can be "I intend to have a child one day," or it can be "I intend not to have a child," and that both of those decisions feed a host of decisions and biological realities that are utterly new to the current generation of women.
